INTRODUCTION

This is the age of information and communication technology. Information communication technology (ICT) is often an extended synonym for information technology (IT) refers to the technology that provides access to information through telecommunication.

 Actually, it can be defined as the technology that manipulates information through telecommunication. As it manipulates the information it is an umbrella term that includes any communication device or application encompassing also covers other various aspects and applications like video conferencing, distance learning and so on.  


Modern information and communication technology have created a "Global Village", in which people can communicate across the world.

As it is known from time immemorial that everything in life is like the two sides of a coin, there is always a positive and negative side to every phenomenon. But whether the effect is positive or negative the effects of information communication technology (ICT) is far-reaching and cannot be overemphasized. 


The Effects includes both positive effects and negative effects and looks at how individuals organizations and society are affected.
